MAJOR earthquake hits southern Mexico-tsunami warnings issued


Dont know if this will affect the peninsula, but it was a BIG earthquake. The tsunami danger has probably passed.

Go to the app store and get anfree app called QuakeFeed. Its customizable to be notified immediately depending on strength and distance from you. Mine is set at 6.0 and greater worldwide. When i saw this one I originally thought it said 6.1!

very sad that Oaxaca and Chiapas, poorest states, were hit the hardest.

An 8.0 earthquake is bad anywhere there are people. Just imagine if it happened in Mexico City. Much more death and damage.
