Whistler,

Yes, that was me....

...but I was experiencing some techincal difficulties with that software.

How about I create these for you:
http://chat.bajanomad.com (non-java)
http://bajanomad.com/cgi-sys/mchat.cgi?channel=bajanomad.com (java)

I can clean up the interface later if you want to use it regularly.

Regards,

Whistler....

The reason that the 'bajanet.com' chat was never active and why David K's was , was that it was David that encourged us to get-together to 'chat', and at that time he didn't have a computer, he had Web-TV which didn't have Java.....he made a place for us to get-together, Thanks again David!......PS: Glenn, I do miss our 'chats' point me toward the right direction!, Where 'ya been 'chatting' Amigo!? You guys like the second (java) one?

I thought the first (non-java) one would be preferred, but ???

Let me know.

Whistler,

You prefer that room? Have you tried the other as well?

Thanks,

Hi gang!

Well, I just got this pc a new mother board with a Pentium 4... and it was a MOTHER to do! Anyway, in the process, I lost a bunch of emails saved to my pc. But, I also lost my java download... So< I go to reinstall java and I get a pop up that says I need the latest version of Windows... I thought I did that already... jeeez!!! The more I upgrade my computer, the more I love my WebTV!!! So, what's all this blah blah about? Well, I was going to join you in chat... But, you guys like the java required room, and WebTV can't go there... But, sooner or later, this computer will! Maybe tomorrow night?

That's how the non-java room works to make sure you can see everything that's been posted... it does an automatic refresh of the page every so often... like 10 or 15 seconds I believe.

If you choose the non-java room, I can join you guys tonight.

I have a computer tech coming over later, and I will get my Pentium 4 loaded correctly along with java script softwear... 9pm?

Java or non-Java?

I got hit through a java-hole visiting a baja chat room before. Doug, why is it you thought we would prefer the non-java version?

Doug is sure working hard to please everyone! Where do I send my contribution for all your efforts?

Not everyone is java enabled... WebTV isn't and until it can get loaded, a pc isn't. So, everyone can chat, there is the non-java site.

I guess the java one is more pleasing to use... But, it's damn nice of Doug to make both for all of us.
