Punta Abreojos

Last week I went to Abreojos to meet Mike nomad MMC who had brought the huge enormous gigantic beautiful drafting table that nomad Don Jorge donated - thanks both of you! Ramiro should be getting it in La Paz today!! Over 1,000 miles to get from A to B!

After unloading it (pics later), we went to lunch at the wonderful restaurant on the malecon - JUANITAS

great company
great food

It was a wonderful day!

Yes! It was great to put a face to the name. He has been ever so helpful with my KIDS!

and Don Jorge is an angel for getting the table and the tools of the trade that his own architectural son donated!

Pics when Ramiro sends a photo of the table in La Paz!

Interesting architecture! I can just imagine the planning process;

"Wouldn't it be great to have a second story deck? It would also give us a shaded sidewalk area!"

"What about the telephone pole?"

"Just build around it! And, we could use the bottom cables as a clothes line if we need to!"

Building codes? We don't need no stinking building codes!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Come on down for a visit and camp with him in Abreojos! Or stay with us (he wants to walk to the surf every day) and head over to Abre during the day.

Woody - you are due a visit to us as well !

AKgringo, you are so right about the NO stinkin building codes. It sure makes remodeling really easy! Come visit us too!

I got (with permission) a cutting off the cactus plant they have in front of the restaurant. I had never seen this one before. And so the garden grows and grows.
