Where to find rainfall data
Hi Nomads. I'm planning a trip and want to see which areas might have seen rain this hurricane season. Not looking for road tips - just want to find a
resource where I can gather data myself. So far all my googling has only brought up seasonal averages... not as helpful for planning! Thank you.

The govt has weather stations. You can google them up. There is actually a govt weather station at Catavina hotel, by the old abandoned tennis
courts. Nice station, good equipment. Check it out if you stay there. http://smn.cna.gob.mx/es/observando-el-tiempo/estaciones-met...
Wundermap has personal weather station data.

I didn't see it either, but I do always enjoy your reports, even though it's taken me a few years to get around to posting. So, thanks.
As for the link and spanish reading required - google chrome translates automatically and does a pretty good job, for those who don't speak much
Spanish.

Definitely significant rain around 9/3.

It would make more sense to be interested in the condition of that big "vado" in Catavina. There can be no rain but the vado could still be full of
water, or dry but road there impassable after heavy rain.
There was significant rain around d 9/3 2017 because this was the day of the hurricane this year, duh  ... Next year it can be heavy rain 9/29 or no heavy rain at all. You can't time the hurricane, if it comes then you
better get off the road and be prepared to stay put for a few days right there and then. Better yet - don't travel in September.
