Pete's Camp gone Disney?

Bajalou (or anyone with direct contacts in Pete's).....is this true?

Pete's Camp Shopping Center located on the highway at the entry will include...Starbucks and Baskin-Robbins! and more.

- The entire property is being block walled enclosed with an entry gate with security. The latest Gated Community of San Felipe.

- All Pete's Camp lots are SOLD! No more lots available.

- An RV section of 20 full-hookup spots for family/guests of Pete's Camp Residents.

- Huge pool with Swim up Bar.

- Beach Access for residents only.

- Small golf course.

The last eight lots were signed, sealed and delivered on Saturday morning!

"- Beach Access for residents only."

I wish I owned the lot next door, so that I could provide good beach access.

Actually, I talked to Rafael about a week ago and Norma a couple days ago and neither mentioned the pool or the Baskins Robins - so maybe it hasn't quite gone that far.

Pete's Camp

I heard from two sources, a resident and an Eldorado Sales person that it is true!!
One person got thier info from Raphael and the other from Salvadore that now works for Raphael.

I remember the term....

..."creeping socialism" from my poly sci classes in high school.

I guess this is "creeping Americanism".

Or creepy Americanism.

I don't know about everything in your list but yes Pete's Camp is getting ready to add lots of new improvements. Only natural since they are right next to the new El Dorado development. All the campos in the area are doing the same thing if they can find the financial backing.
There has been a rumor, for a long time, that the Pete's camp 9 hole sand course will be upgraded to a grass course once the El Dorado course is finished.
They haven't even started to sell the new lots yet. The last eight lots you talk about are most likely the last lots of the second (new) section of Pete's.
