Not long ago someone posted about an RV park south of the arroyo and east of the airport near the ocean. They allowed campers, tents etc as I recall. You might try a Google search of RV parks.

Not sure if this qualifies or what you would consider but back in '95

I was passing through Loreto in my 35' motor-home and was able to stay free in the parking lot of the only hoar-house in the area.
Just North of town.

By golly we had a great time there.

Although I'm not sure it's still there and open ? Anyone ?

25 minutes north.... Ensenada san basillio. this is isolated, i have visited by boat several times but never camped there.

both will be great.

Playa Ligui, Km. 84+, about 22 miles south of Loreto (Km. 119). The public beach is under a mile from the highway. No services at the beach.

My article on Ligui, and the 3rd California mission founded there: https://www.bajabound.com/bajaadventures/bajatravel/vanished...

Playa Ligui, 2 months ago:

Juncalito, about 10 miles south of Loreto. Nice beach for camping, and area in a grove of trees. In Winter, might be subject to north winds. This is Federal land, not to be confused with the Ejido Juncalito, which has some issues going on currently. Also, Rattlesnake beach (common name) just to the south of Tripui trailer part at Puerto Escondido. Access road just to the west of Tripui, on a short dirt road.

Well Paco, here's hoping the same girls are still there, and they remember you!

Playa Buenaventura is at Km. 93+ and Loreto is Km. 0, ie. 57.7 miles away.

Just south of Buenaventura is a Playa Publica, at El Requeson (Km. 92):

El Juncalito south of Loreto used to be a good spot. Haven't been there in a bunch of years. Maybe someone has recent info.

If you're talkin Loreto and Camping I recommend Ligui and Maritime Park. Juncalito is good if they have cleaned up all the trash that seems to be left thrown around. Otherwise, Bahia Concepcion is the ticket. Both great areas. Let us know how it went, por favor!:):) Tio

It's been abandoned for about the past 10 years or so. Moved to a bigger and better location south-west of town, or so I've been told. :)

Living Large in Loreto. Off-grid and happy.
