Sentri vehicle add

FYI. I added a new vehicle to sentri last Thursday night. I got an approval notification today, Tuesday!
Might be a record.

per the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce today:

Passenger Port of Entry Updates

"2-Week Wait for SENTRI Vehicle Authorization

Yes, you are reading correctly, CBP has managed to reduce the wait time for new vehicles in the SENTRI program to approximately two weeks. Congratulations CBP!

The new enrollment or renewal wait time is approximately 13 weeks for Global Entry and 17 weeks for SENTRI."

I was expecting 3-4 months and dreading the ready lane for so long. Had to use the ready lane only once and it was an hour, not too bad.

I did not know of the update from the otay chamber. That's good to know and how it should be.

Went to website to replace lost card. New website, easier login, easier to use, much nicer. Wonder how long to get new card. Will see.

Wife's replacement card arrived in 7 work days after she was told on phone it could be 2-3 weeks. I am going to add her new car and see how that goes.

Just added another vehicle tonight. I will post when it is approved. Not sure how many you can have but this will be #3 vehicle if approved.

Same fee for you minor kids?

NEW TTP website allowed me to create login and PW.
Can logon after providing security code text message content.
After that screen wants more personal info but web screen fields can't be updated.
Anyone else in same situation???
