Good by to the Fideocomiso?

I talked with an abagado "friend" of mine in Ensenada yesterday and he told me that he had just heard that the big dogs in DF have changed the rules and it is no long nessasary to have a fideocomiso or "Calvo" Corp. to own land in the "restricted" zone (on the beach)

He doesn't benefit from blowing sunshine up my skirt. So...

Is there some truth to this or is my "friend" a pathological attorney (kind of a oximarooon)???

I've contacted the abagado that I have on retainer and he is further going to research it.

I'm also going to grill my "friend" more!!!:fire:

This is going to be VERY interesting!

I know nothing, but without of the other 'faster than the speed of light' changes, this would be way down on the list of things that would surprise me. Do keep us informed.

People, the presidential race is just about to start, do you actually think theres one politician or political party that would actually support a law like this one? this one is definately a no no, a change this huge would be all over the Mexican media, and i havent seen anything at all.

fidecomiso - Jesse

It is doubtful this info is correct. I believe the distance from the borders, both land and sea, are stated in the Mexican constitution. Seems it would require a change by most of states, similar to the US requirements, before any constitutional changes can occur. Jesse, please correct me if I am wrong.

I FEEL RIGHT PRIVILEGED

to have you disinguished viquero's add your 2 pesos.

If for some reason (which I doubt) that it is true...than I'll like "too hip for words...Johnny Baja" for being the first to break the news.

If not, than my "friend" is going to get a harsh lesson about the speed of the hyber highway.

Fasten you seatbelts!

I may be walking suave...But I type too fast...and don't preview my posts.

I talked again to my "friend" yesterday and he said that he'd have more info for me today.

Don't worry! If this turns out to be BS (likely) then I'm going to share his name on the Baja Nomad blog and on all the Pemex bathroom walls from here to Guerro Negro.
