I think the Old English cemetery at the south end of San Quintin is interesting. I have some pictures somewhere.

One time I went over and walked around the cemetery in BOLA. Its all dug in an alluvial plain. Nothing but large granite rocks with sand in between.
It struck me that that was a horrendous place to have to dig a grave.
If anyone remembers the character "digger" on the very long time ago radio program, "The Life of Riley" with William Bendix, not a job I would want
down there.

Indeed, not an ideal 'Forest Lawn' location... The road south to Punta San Francisquito passes right by it, just south of the pavement.
Here is the grave of a greatly loved Baja Nomad at the Bahía de los Angeles cemetery soon after it was occupied and before a headstone was added,
from November 2006, Mike Humfreville:

Wow....the decorated cemetery is so pretty! Here in La Bocana, many have cleaned up the graves and placed flowers for All Soul's Day. We are a
pretty wealthy community and the cemetery looks like condos from afar. I will take and post some pictures.
No charge to be buried here, one only pays for the digger, casket etc.

Nice photos. These cemeteries remind me of a passage from Graham Greene's novel, The Power and the Glory:
"It was like a building estate where nobody had paid attention to the architecture of the next house. The big stone tombs of above-ground burial were
any height and any shape; sometimes an angel stood on the roof with lichenous wings: sometimes through a glass window you could see some rusting metal
flowers upon a shelf--it was like looking into the kitchen of a house whose owners have moved on, forgetting to clean the vases out. There was a sense
of intimacy--you could go anywhere and see anything. Life here had withdrawn altogether."
