fishing in East Cape Nov-Dec

How is fishing in the East Cape area during November or December?
I have only been there around summer time.

Haven't fished east cape since January 1992. However, I predict fishing will be wonderful! However, catching may be a little spotty, depending on your guide/captain/knowledge. ;)

November-February are windy months. You will share waters with kite surfers, very enjoyable to watch.

Some days may be too windy to fish, as boats can have difficulty getting out. Fish are there, so you will catch fish. Bring a wet weather jacket as waves will likely break over the boat (panga).

A good captain/resort will help you pick the right days to go.

Have fun!
