Historically, it appears that the Tijuana sewage treatment plant has many "accidental" sewage spills when it rains!

These "accidental spills" contribute greatly to the seawater quality in Southern San Diego County (Imperial Beach and the strand).

Since this pollution problem won’t be solved in our lifetime, let’s look on the bright side of life!

The organic matter is Nutrition for sea life!

Buried trash on the beach is archaeological treasure for future generations!
