La Paz marine mechanics/ Easiest brand outboard for service and parts

Shopping center consoles and wondering what brand outboard you would recommend owning in the La Paz area in regards to ease of finding parts and service for? Also, can you guys recommend some good marine mechanics in the area?

Cheers,
Nick

Most of the pangueros in the La Paz area are running Hondas and most of the gringos are running Yamahas. Factory certified mechanics? ... not so much that I'm aware of but we do have many that can keep things together

Hector Diaz Sanchez, Factory certified Yamaha Mechanic but works on many types of outboards. He's next to Ajorna just off the Malecon

Buy a Yamaha and you won't need any mechanics.
