Winterized...In the Baja?
Does that mean that it already has a Gringo or Canadian in it?
Seriously, is this set up somewhere in Baja, or sitting on a lot somewhere?

The baja makes sense if it's short for the baja peninsula but otherwise not so much. Where is the trailer located?

David this was all hashed out before, The Baja is correct. Sorry for your memory issues. The Yucatan is also correct. Any peninsula can and mostly
will use a "The" at the beginning. It is totally acceptable and correct.

mountain ranges (the Smoky Mountains, the Andes)
island chains (the Florida Keys, the Pacific Islands)
geographical areas (the East, the Midwest)
rivers, seas, and oceans (the Mississippi River, the Atlantic Ocean, the Nile River)
deserts and peninsulas (The Sahara, The Baja )

So as a student of linguistics way back in the day.....any term used over and over enough times, becomes the accepted vernacular.
Ergo, we have Baja and The Baja!
If you live in Florida (as I did), the Florida Keys Islands are simply referred to as The Keys. I am thinking this had a similar process as The
Baja does.

Shouldn't that be 'The San Diego' with a capital T?
I am surprised that this first and only newbie post got legs like it did! All I wanted was to find out if it was in Baja, without sending my e-mail
address to an unknown entity.

Here is the photo that goes with that ad, however in the other ad, both the truck and 5th Wheel, were offered for $55,000 dollars.
And the viewing of offered in La Paz.
The seller appears to be Canadian.

I was wondering if the rig was set up in a semi permanent space, but it doesn't really matter since that is a more luxurious set up than I need. It
is certainly more than I am prepared to drag around Baja!

Winterized usually means that it has more insulation in the outer walls, insulated covers for the roof fans, and a winterizing valve that allows you
to bypass the water heater when you introduce antifreeze to the water lines. It can also mean that some windows are dual pane.
Irrespective of the benefits in cold weather, winterizing will also keep a unit cooler in warm temps. It's a good thing to have, if you can accept the
weight increase.
