Cute Casita for sale
Very attractive one bedroom casita on lovely leased lot at 510 Oasis Rio Baja. Includes all furniture, utensils, towels, bedding, clothes washer, full
size BBQ, patio furniture, gardening tools, and some things I'm sure I've forgotten.
Located in a friendly neighborhood, a 2 minute walk to the river, 5 minutes to La Jungla restaurant/bar. It's about a 10 minute drive to the town of
Mulegé, and 20 minutes to Santispac. It is currently empty as the furniture, etc is in storage.

This is MULEGE!
The Oasis is a Mulege housing community on the river. The homes really are very cute!
La Jungla is where lots of gatherings are held: Thanksgiving, Saint Patrick's (we went once) etc.

Not even 2 minutes gives you plenty of site info.
The only remaining question is which of the Casitas is yours?
I'm guessing that things are stored off site in case the river floods.
A 2 minute walk to the river doesn't put it very far up and it's obvious that some properties have been hit hard in that Park.

....seems like those Mulege places are priced appropriate for the cleanup they get every year or two. A very sweet place 99.8% of the time.
I'd not hesitate except I don't like neighbors.
It's not like any have gotten swept away.

Not swept away, but at least one senior resident drowned in his casita.
Certainly a great location in a gringo enclave with La Jungla being a great bar...good gossip locale and drinks. I would not discourage a home
purchase along the rio and have considered it myself a few times....but have decided not to own property anywhere else in my retirement phase of
life....just economics at work. 
A buyer should simply be aware of possible downsides to any such purchase.

We have been here thru many of the floods, This is the first I have heard of this...
Any idea which storm/flood that might have happened and where or what park or community it happened in????
I know several that have been rescued years ago and some that have sit it out on their second floor...
Always interesting to get a new story....

I was staying at the Hacienda for a few weeks in February of 2008....met a fellow staying there as his river home was flooded and not cleaned up yet.
He shared a sad story of a Rio resident neighbour who drowned in his casita...names not recalled ....
I don't imagine he was making up the story....and I have no need to.

I agree that the best solution is to factor in the cost of a clean up...the location is so beautiful.
