corn bread mixed fruit bread date bread Ejido Bonfil

Yesterday we went to Santa Rosalia. On the way, as we passed Ejido Bonfil (south of San Ignacio), I saw a bakery sign. I suggested we check it out on the way back and we did.

We bought two of the three types of bread and had some when we got home.

Highly recommend them!

Only 30 pesos each - a really good price IMO.

We didn't try the coffee but the whole café/bakery smelled really good.

Our friend Gary had mentioned the bakery years ago but there was no sign that was inviting enough to give it a whirl. Now I realize that we have been missing some delicious breads!

I did see the sign for the restaurant, what do you recommend there?

Neighbor Mike saw this post and is threatening to turn me in as a cheating diabetic! No bread for this lady, he says....but a bit too late. I did eat the bread, my sugar did spike, but I have to say.....it was so good.
