What happened to Mr. Beefy?

Just curious if anyone knows the story behind the 44 Lagoon powercat that washed up on El Pabellon just in front of the RV park? The name is "Mr. Beefy".

Is this El Pabellon one of the two places with that name near San Quintín? What is the story? When?

Obviously presentation for prospective boat renters. Nice job of explaining the inner systems. Maybe should have included some basic boat handling lessons since it apparently wound up on the beach. What a shame- nice looking boat.

I found this link, but it doesn't tell the eventual outcome.

While the video link looked like a familiarization lesson for renters of the boat, it appears from the bdoutdoors link that the owner was in command for the beaching rather than a renter.

Thanks for the info! Sorry about my delayed thank you but we've been mostly off the grid. Currently in San Sebastian. Sadly, heading north tomorrow. :(

BTW, David, yes, it was at one of the two El Pabellons you spoke of. That was our first time staying there. We'll be back! Great set up, amazing beach.
