"Bajan" in Barbados

Spent last week in Barbados (my brother in law denies visas for the US embassy)

First sign I saw said "Bajan" style.
Same with menu items.... "Bajan style" dishes.

Found out that the locals call themselves "Bajans"

That was about the highlight of the week, otherwise a bunch of snooty Brit styles folks running their little cane sugar empire.

Stick with Baja, over Bajan, it is closer and muy amable.

enforcing the law

My sister (the diplomats wife) informed me that nude beach stuff was against the law.
I immediately took it upon myself to patrol the beaches, in search of miscreants.
Alas, the Europeans were out in great force, and major undress.
So depressing, to see all of that flesh being exposed, clearly against the law.
Just makes a guy want to weep....
Where is an Ensenada cop when you need him?
Surely he could have extracted a few nipples (er, nickels) from those beach truants.
