Any of you BOLA residents have info on the bludgeoning murder of Chuck Crabtree (resident of Andrea's camp) on Jan 8?

News is sketchy and here is all I have heard. He was found at his trailer on La Gringa road where he lived in Andreas camp. He apparently died from blunt force trama. There is a lot of speculation and gossip about what happened, we will probably never know the truth.

RIP Chuck

It is truly amazing how easy it is to get away with murder in Mexico. Unless it is a domestic situation, I would venture that 95+% of all murders never get solved.

And the other five per cent, statistically, are people whom the police frame for it, to appease bad publicity.

Eventually some regional cartel overlord gets captured or killed in a shootout and many murders are laid at this doorstep, but the actual perps aren't caught.

There is just no motivation to solve murders on the part of the police. Indeed, they could be endangered if trying to solve them too thoroughly.
