Funny story I'm sitting in San Quintin eating a taco. Across the street Mexican High Way patrol car getting the windows tinted. One thing I wont worry about.

Driving through Santa Rosalia last year and the cops had a road block set up checking window tint. They were handing out razor blades and letting people scrape off the really dark tints, I can only guess what option “B” was.

Last year stopped at check point in La Paz and they got my buddy behind me. Had several garbage cans full of tint film. Claimed they could not see the narcos.

Here's a funny unrelated story. I work in city government. One year we had a new mayor elected. He was sort of a loudmouth local guy who had issues with cops. So his equally loudmouth son drives a huge lifted 4x4 with dark tinted windows and a big flag waving in back. You know the type... One day the local cops write the son a ticket for the window tint. Mr. Mayor is infuriated to say the least! He marches into the police chiefs office and tells him to follow him out to the PD parking lot behind the building. What do they find? Practically every personal cop car has the darkest window tint you can imagine!! Soo freaking funny. Needless to say, Mr. Mayor busted some PD ass that day. Called them all a bunch of hypocrites and demanded all the tint be removed.
