Don't know about Thai or Chinese, but the best sushi is out near Costa Baja.

We eat a lot of sushi here in Los Angeles, and it was every bit as good, but more creative, and a 3rd of the price. Highly recommend it.

Went to a place off the malecon, Tokyo Sushi, or something... it was horrible.

I am going to be in La Paz around lunch time. If someone remembers a spot by then I will go check it out.
There is a pretty good all around asian place in Todos Santos that has a great curry.
Rumi Garden, asian american gal owns it, very animated human.

We've enjoyed Restaurant Pekín for years -- even at Christmas. Their location on the malecon.

yeah yeah, I forgot about the Peking.

I was really hoping for Thai as both Les and Mom love it. There used to be a tiny hole in the wall Thai place that a woman who didn't even speak Spanish ran. It was amazing but alas, is now gone.

tobias, stop by to say hello! I will u2u our cell phone #.

I am going to take you up on that! Keen to meet you and the gang but also have been pondering that rental space you have all winter long!
Perhaps you know of another near by...
I am in Loreto now and have some errands to run but will head down in a bit.
Will give you a call when I am in cell phone range.

can you pinpoint that please? Have been looking for a decent sushi place for years.
Thought I had tested them all - and dismissed them all.

So, please please let me know more details.

I think he is referring to Odyaka out at Costa Baja.

In the evenings a Sushi food truck sets up in the parking lot of the Arjona Marine supply store on Abasolo. It has been setting up there over a year and it is still packed every night so that has to count for something. Just haven't tried it myself. Couldn't see how sushi and car exhaust would work but it is popular.

for sushi, La Bocana is great! Everyone knows how to make it and each one has her own version. Usually in the little store on the side street to the high school, DICONSA, someone delivers sushi in the mornings and they sell it right next to the cash register.

Really, really good.

Click on that link I posted above. There are 200 pics of Sushi plates on the left side - amazing presentation. No place in La Paz is remotely close to how good Odayaka is.

there are a thousand flies on a cow patty - must be good

if you like Sushi, do not go to that sidewalk place. It will ruin your idea of Sushi forever
