baja trips

Hello old friends. I haven't been to baja since 2010. I sold my plane last August and had to quit flying due to my wife's significant medical issues. I am her full time caregiver. Glad I had all those hours and trips over 32 years. Met a lot of superlative people both Americans and Mexican. Adios all.

Hello Captain Mike. You are missed here so do come back on occasion to check on the chaos that goes on here at times... if for nothing more than the comic relief!
My sincere wishes for Janeen's comfort and your strength!

I don't think we ever had the chance to meet. Sure do wish your wife the best of luck with her medical issues and may the wings of angels lessen your burden.

It is GREAT to hear from the "Capt. Mike". I have missed your stories. Having provided hospice For my own wife, I can kinda appreciate what you and your wife are going through. I found " This just sucks" as some kind of a montra at times. Taking care of the love of your life is everything. Watching the diginites of one's life slip away is harting breaking.
Thank you for checking in. If there is any support/friendship/shoulder, I would be honored if you contact me.

It was good to read your post here on Baja Nomad, after such a long absence, Capt. Mike. You are a valued member of the "old guard", and you were sincerely missed.

Blessings to you and your wife. As a recent widow I sympathize with your challenges at this time.

Godspeed, Sir.

Oh my, what a cool guy he was. Missed his wife terribly after she passed. The flight with him in 2001 was good fun, on his Screaming Airlines.

Dammit. I met him once in Guaymas, Sonora. Emailed and messaged him a bunch.

He flew my sister and niece from Guaymas to Phoenix around 2008.

Dude was cool like the other side of the pillow.
