La Paz Feb 8 2018

First we went to the anthropological museum. It is extremely dark inside and hard/sometimes impossible to read the explanatory signs!

Camera with flash works so there are lots of photos.

From there we went to Ibarra Ceramics - I have always been curious to see what they had. There are people working the clay, but one is not allowed to take photos.

Here are the photos that I did not take:

From there we went to doce cuarenta (1240) which I love.

Nice. I love La Paz.

Really like that coffee shop and the carrot cake is outstanding.
Thanks for reminding me, I had forgotten all about them.

Every time I come to La Paz, I stop by this cultural museum. There is always a free and interesting exhibit and today was no exception! The two month showing on evolution of corn culture in Mexico was very informative.

As you can see, we really had a good time today and we got in our exercise for sure! Les came and picked us up around 2 ish, we came home and ate a delicious curry lunch that Les had prepared yesterday and our landords made a rice pudding with whip cream dessert for us that we ate AFTER Les had his siesta.

They are spoiling us!

Looks like all the scholarship kids who are in La Paz will be coming over for breakfast on Sunday! They are organizing themselves....we shall see if they can get it together!
