I like the guy with the ceviche moped... ...and you cannot beat La Michoacana for ice cream dinner. I think I had six paletas one time.

Super burro for us.
But I think it was called Mi Loreto in the two square area is also fantastic. They had delicious mole enchiladas. We ate there three nights in a row last summer. Also give you a little sope when you get seated.

My new favorite is La Picazón (thanks Howard!). The food, people and scenery are off-the-charts.

Sabor is as good as it ever was

Tacos - El Rey (When their open!)

Breakfast - Islas on the Malecon

Lunch and when entertaining out of town guests - La Picazon

All meals - Orlando's for good and very consistently good food

For Italian - Mezzaluna / Very good for Mexico

Lunch specials (after 1:00) (maybe it's La Fuente)

Ice cream- Michoacán / Next to Orlando's

Now for ncampion's post, he has been reading to many comic books.
It's the Blue Anchor, not the Blue Lantern! Not a bad place to sit and have a beverage as well, the view is the best!

In the last year or so many new restaurants have opened up that are very good and they have actually remained open! Ask around and the locals will point them out to you.

Buen provecho

Thank's Howard, that jogged my memory... and without searching my February 2017 trip report! I believe it was Orlando's.

My fave for dinner and great wine list is El Nido. It's near Hotel Santa Fe at the Y when you come into town, south side of the street. Old brick building with wagon wheels out front. Love the frog legs and quail dinner, they'd make me a half-and-half order. Good beef too.

I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!

I don't think it is called El Nido anymore but something like Dominos or Domingos.

Messaluna for lasanga and great salads. Orlando's for everything. Islas on the malecon is a favorite for breakfast.

Howard, thanks for the correction. We have so many good places to eat in Loreto it's sometimes hard to decide. Only problem is trying to eat on Monday. Seems everyone chooses Monday to be closed. Exceptions are: Orlando's, Mezzaluna, now Sabor and a couple others. Then there's always the hot dog carts.
