Just upgrade the old XR 650R and DRZ for a 2014 KTM 500 and did the Rekluse, I would have to agree the E-button and a Rekluse open up a whole new
world of ridding... It's like Viagra for old riders, LOL!

To answer ged's earlier question, our ride last year was epic. We made an 11 day loop from BoLA to Cabo and back and saw a lot of fantastic scenery,
met a lot of nice people, and ate a lot of great food. The private dinner that you and Shari arranged for us at Loncheria Mary was the highlight of
the ride. In addition to great sea food, the host had a ton of personality and made us feel most welcome.

We are going to be there March 8th and I'd like to make sure that gas, food, and cots are available.

He has for rent a house with a double bed and 2 singles in one room and a small one couple place near the beach. We camped in tents on the beach and
used his flush toilets. I think he charges $10 per person per night for tent camping. Gas is available.

So glad your ride was that good ...Thomas was your host at the
loncheria....he and wife cook and run a good show...
Again, the wet hide-a-bed haunts me....didn't think to check it after the flood as I spent 3 days drying out bedroom mattress while Juan rebuilt the
roof  
My five months in Asuncion provided me with so many good rides in the areas south and north...figured out my sand phobia that trip.

The wet hide-a-bed didn't turn out to be a problem at all. We put a couple of beach chair cushions on top of the couch cushions and I slept like a
rock.

It all depends on injuries, breakdowns, and the "squirts".....and how long it took for "it's just a few miles ahead....I think....seems like things
have changed since I was here last time"....

Here is my trip report where I went to San Isidoro. Near the end is pictures of it. http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=81801 When you get to the water stream where the blue tarp tent is shown in the pictures (the tarp
may be gone) you want to cross the stream and up a short embankment and thru a barbwire fence. It's about 300 feet due north from the fence to the
adobe ruins.
