Breakfast of Champions!

Whenever we have special guests, Les does his wonderful breakfast. Truly an honor since he isn't doing breakfasts at the B&B any more.

Usually the breakfast is his special scrambled eggs with potatoes on the side and his homemade Polish or English banger sausage. and Mexican beans. and homemade salsa. and I am not sure what else since I was sleeping when he did these meals.

This week we had Carl visiting - the very Carl who took in Ramiro Andres for a week in January and showed him the most extraordinary kindness - so Les made him and his nephew one of his special meals. Variation on a theme: pancakes with eggs and his homemade Polish sausages....our Texas neighbor Jerry (PIGIRON on nomad) was here too.

Les in the kitchen preparing pancakes:

I can't tell you how good this all is!

Enjoying our meal:

Afterwards Les put on a taped TV show with Carter Andrews called OBSESSIONS OF CARTER where Carter is in Mag Bay going nuts over all the marlin they were catching (and releasing).

I also want to thank Carl very much for bringing me 10 huge liquid laundry soaps for the xmas party for the kids! He was in such a small car and it was a feat that he managed to do it!

What is the point of coming to visit if Les is not going to make breakfast?

Les made some really good stroganoff when Blanca gave us the tour in 2012. He didn't want to call it stroganoff because it was chicken and not beef. Tasted great and could have been rabbit... which was a great treat that Shari made me last year, Rabbit Mole!

Les is an excellent cook. I have never had a bad meal with him.
