Rare San Juanico Beachfront for Sale

Legendary Surf + Phenomenal Fishing/Diving/Spearfishing/Kayaking + Extraordinary View + Cool Dry Nights in Summer:

San Juaunico (Scorpion Bay), 2.5 acres on 7th Point, 162 LF of beach frontage. The lot is terraced with buildable pads down on the beachfront, and also the upper circular view pad. There are only two (2) properties in San Juanico that have 360 degree views of the entire coast and mountains... this is one of them!!! Selling now for only $249,000 US.

We were one of the first purchasers when TITLE-CLEAR property sales opened north of 2nd Point, so we simply lucked out. This would be incredible for a single large beach house and amenities (workshop, garage, utility cluster, barn for horses, etc). Or, you could easily subdivide into 4 large lots, with 2 houses down on the beach and 2 on the upper terrace.

The South highway is fully paved from Ciudad Insurgentes, reducing the drive time to 3 hours of paved road from Loreto. Within the next few years construction will start on the North road, reducing drive time from the US border to only 11 hours! When electricity and the north road are in, property values will rise significantly.

San Juanico is happening for real... get in while the gettin' is still good.

Pretty soon it will be just like Orange County. All gringos driving huge expensive suvs, Starbucks on every corner, beaches fenced off, poor and middle class displaced.

I never understand how the first person to respond feels a need to quote?

Since you got priced out at home why not dive in here?

I think it will be a while before the north road is paved. Look how long they have been working on the road from San Ignacio to the Laguna. I first went down it in 1989 and they are still working on it. Part of the problem in building a road like that is the cities on the other side don't want it and that usually leads to less funding. I'll bet that is the same problem in getting Hwy 5 done.

For me I'm happy to drive the road the way it is.

Yep. Still, it’s a shock to the senses to drive all those off road miles only to arrive and the crowd is like Malibu on a mild summer day! ☹️ But one wave at 3rd can change your perspective in a hot minute!

Sound's pretty damn nice to me. I sent you an IM. I have a good buddy and his wife that want to develop and build their own place with/next to us.

I can't imagine there are people who are worrying about a road being paved quickly in Mexico, much less Baja. I hear they're bringing electricity to Punta Chivato 20 years ago.....?

the coming north road might be exactly the reason not to buy - see what happened after the road south of Puertecitos was paved

Just inquiring for due diligence purposes, was the land originally purchased from an ejido or an established rancho or what/whom?
Sorry, this info is no trivial manner, no such thing as title insurance in BCS.

I'm 100% in favor of turning San Juanico into another Orange County as long as goat666 is one of the displaced residents.

After he moves out we can have a community party at Starbucks!

How is titled held? Fedeicomiso or corporate?

Water is trucked in. Power is off grid/solar. Not a problem for some.

That north road will be held up forever due to politics.

If that road goes through, Loreto will dry up. To much money there for that to happen
