Todos Santos Camping Recommendation
To piggyback on bajafreaks post -
We'll be doing the same in May and then would like to head to Todos Santos for some tent camping - recommendations? Ideas?

Todos Santos Camping
My dog & I camped at the Turtle Sanctuary in 2017. The lady who runs the sanctuary is American.
If you agree to volunteer at the sanctuary she will allow you to camp outside the sanctuary property. There were other people doing the same in vans.
That area can be noisy at times on the weekend with kids coming there so be sure you have earplugs. http://www.todostortugueros.org/
It is a great place to witness watching the turtles emerge from the nests and liberating them at night.
She has accommodations in town but (from what people told me) they are not worth the price.
Todos Santos is a tough place to find budget accommodations. I found Booking.com & Google search had the most reasonable prices around $37/night.

I haven't been there in a few years but I think you can camp on the beach at San Pedrito, south of TS and a touch north of El Pescadero. Maybe someone
has more recent info.

There where people camping there in Nov. 2017. There are some places North of TS also.

That entire coast from Todos Santos all the way to Cabo is quickly developing and there are very few open campsites left. I camped in one place south
of Todos Santos which said it was a day use only so I paid the caretaker 250 mxn/day to camp there. It was a really nice place but you have to first
talk to the caretaker when he is around in order to camp overnight. I did this in 2017 so I bet there are even fewer places now due to development.
