Gonzaga May 5

Was thinking of heading to Gongaza Bay on Cinco De Mayo weekend.
One guy told me it would be really crowed then. Another said it would not be crowed.

Any Advice

Cinco de Mayo more of a U.S. created event and is not much of a holiday in most of Mexico. The big beach holiday of Easter week has passed. Sometimes it is confused with America's term "4th of July" but Mexico's Independence day is in September, not May.

May in Gonzaga is great , warm but not hot water still cool. By mid June the temps are in the 100s. Cinco de mayo in not as bad as Easter not crazy and out of control. May is a great time of year and alot of people will be enjoying the weather . Gonzaga is becoming a weekend destination for residents of Mexicali and Ensanada. So you will not have the beaches to your self but have a good time.
