Now that I did go there, Crazy Horse monument is a long way from being finished. My friend mis-informed me. The only thing finished was the complete face. Perhaps our grandchildren may see it finished.
But after visiting Mt. Rushmore, that carving is not finished either, and more than likely will not be. Yes, the faces are done. But according to the park people, there are many aspects not completed, one of which is the clothing on their torso.
