Lately it seems like every time I log in to Nomads, mtgoat666 finds a new way to make me wish I hadn't.
Other than dropping the Nomad forum entirely, is there some technical solution I could use to make sure I never see a post from this pinhead again?

I like to read his posts. This is Baja. If you want conformity and regurgitated rhetoric...

I am not offended by the Goat....although he likely considers me a knuckledragger due to me liking dirtbiking.
I smile with some of his iconoclastic posts...
I am more offended by some of the vicious posts directed to him....but some folks need a whipping boy to vent their spleens...
And some of his political comments resonate with my own thinking at times.
Each to their own

We all have the choice to pass over and not read any posts that we all know will only pee us off.
One thing we can certainly rely upon, is the dissension on the value of anyone's single opinion. That a certain poster appears to garner the majority,
should be an example of a post that some should try to ignore.
If he gets no complaints, he would get no recognition. Just try to ignore him. He might go away. Once in a while he does have a valid point. As in
life, we all have to take the good with the bad.
What we each choose to focus on, is to each him own. Peace out.

Goat does have some helpful contributions mixed in with his sarcastic rhetoric. But overall it is all interesting reading and helps make the forum
lively, particularly in watching the reaction of the insulted ones sure to follow.

Has anyone here ever met the Goat ?
A while back I invited him out for drinks and or dinner but alas, there was no reply.
I guess I'm not his cup of tea.

ToJZ: Just got the domain travelingbaja.com
Have fun with your post with photos, only a few, mind you, of the beautiful nature that is Baja. Share with us the little places you have discovered.
Gems you find. Non commercial encounters you find along your path. The best tacos you ever had: where?
Will be off the grid again for a while. Nice reading.
