In ensenada on rte 1 north side of town there is a large yard of containers. I would first ask there about used containers, they may sell used or would know who does.

I dont recall seeing a container yard in la paz or cabo, but there probably is one, ask around...

Transporting and unloading a 40 ft container in rural baja is hard, you have to slide it off truck or get a large forklift or crane/excavator for pick
Easier to transport a 20 ft container, as you can use a tilt bed tow truck to transport and slide off container.

I checked into the cost of a container on the north side of Ensenada a few years ago. The asking price was pretty high, so I decided to build a cinder block garage instead.
