I remember my neighbor had one when they first came out!!! Must have been late 1960's. The Trail 70 looked much different, and came after the QA50.

I had one of those when I was 14 or so. A friend had one, too.

At $4K, it's a bit steep.

They will sell millions great put put to have in Baja. Its still not small enough to fit in my garage. Have to keep it up stairs in the house. Its about time Honda went back to simple air cooled reliable bikes. As when they went to some water cooled dirt bikes reliable no more.

Bungy cording a milk crate on the rear of the seat worked for years for the twenty plus miles on the East Cape to town and back with a helmut and some gloves and not much else, just shorts and a t-shrt.

Ah, the indestructale youth we all imagined.

Those few instances when the front tire dug in a bit in the soft stuff stopped my heart every time. Whew. Thanks to all here.

When I was 10 (1974) I bought a used Honda 50 for $110. It was in a lawnmower repair shop. My dad and I were dropping off his broken lawnmower. I wanted it bad. He said "you want it, you buy it". Paper route money just covered it👍

In 1966, I bought a well thrashed Hodaka Ace 90 from a local racer. It was surprisingly nimble and quick for the bikes of that era!

I sold it when I got drafted in December of that year, and never got around to getting another dirt bike.

(my effort to post an image failed!)
