Am needing to get new shocks for my Subaru to Loreto. Weight okay. Doesn’t seem like flying them with me should be an issue, but should I anticipate any issues with the airline or customs (I think I’m under the dollar limit for imported goods)?

Autoparts can't fly. You will need airplane parts for flying.
Cars can't fly yet.

In December, I flew 4 huge King shocks for my 3/4 ton down on Alaskan going LAX to Loreto. Bag weighed about 60 pounds.

Had to pay extra for the oversized bag with Alaska, but customs didn't say a word.

Have a receipt though (even if a low ball fake invoice). If they stop you, worse case is you pay tax.

Hermosillo use to stop me every time, but Loreto seems more relaxed. Plus Calafia will be a domestic flight anyway.
