They looked outclassed.

Well, it was Brazil, after all..........probably the favorites, now that Portugal and Spain and Argentina are all gone.

Still a lot of good teams, Uruguay, France, Croatia, Belgium, England.

I've only casually watched the World Cup since 2010, but this is by far the most exciting one. Many, many upsets. Japan almost pulled off the biggest, but lost to Belgium.

A shame that a player of the quality of Neymar had to pull that outrageous flop. Reminded me of Lebron James and his crybaby act.
(oops, forgot that all you SoCal folks now own him, sorry for the slight to your new darling)

you did see the video right, he didn't "dive" he reacted to the Mexican player appearing to deliberately step on his shin when he was on the ground. I hate dives, and the official alternate name for the worls cup is the Biannual world diving champoionships!

not sure if it was on purpose - sure looked like it to me, and was it embelished - certainly - but trying to deliberately hurt an opponent - No bueno!

"Diving" is the term for faking

And it was a grand celebration of faking it.
Deliberate and dirty on the part of the Mexican?? Absolutely!!
But a world class athlete does not do the "writhing act" that he did.
Frankly it will live on with him and will be a part of his "legacy"

Watching the NBA finals in Baja was fun, because they ran an ad a lot showing a split screen with Lebron on one side and a bawling baby on the other. It was terrific, got a laugh every time it showed.
