I have asked motocops in California if they prefer the BMW or the HD....and most preferred the beemer for riding and handling...and the HD for parades
as they lug better.
Yeah....the pirate outfits....unique individuality....the wannabees now like those skeleton face masks....kinda juvenile isn't it?

Been to Switzerland or Austria lately?? fave bikes of the educated rich euros are HD's.
The ride to die, live to ride lifestyle and clothing associated is the draw.
Baby boomer baggers and choppers are all that's left here in the states.
The business model here has died, don't blame HD one bit

Its ture all the LAPD and Chips I ride dirt bikes with. love the BMW for work. For me when I rode street rode a HD XR1000 . Had wet eyes when I sold
it knowing never would be able to get another.
