I didn't get there until the early 80's but was just the same then, what I remember also was you could buy rope ajo in the building with arches on the right, those days you could go to the bank on the corner while waiting.

Rudolfo is in front of Saul's 'Candil Restaurant' downtown...Saul also has La Palapa on highway near the Pemex station.
