I have decided to let Nachito's mom do the drawing since she will be coming one of these days!
It somehow seems appropriate that she should be the one to choose the last name and winner! Hope you all agree11
So far I have these deposits and if you could confirm who you are? The only one that came thru with a name was Lori's.

I also did write, as MMc suggested, to a wonderful guy involved with helping Bajans get replacement arms - legs etc. to see if he can get his group
to come up with more funds. My dream is to cover the expense of the hearing aid 100% so that the family can use the cash they have saved for
schooling and battery replacements for Nachito or simply take a breather. For weeks now they have been starting their day at 6 am selling food around
Guerrero Negro. If they are selling at 6, that means they have been preparing the food since at least 4 am.
The day Laura comes will be the last day of the raffle!

Kinda confused on the numbers you listed above. Are those deposit numbers? Are they the incoming account numbers?

Hi all, the total according to current and upcoming deposits is $440! This is awesome.
I am waiting a week to see if some other angels come through and then I will get Laura and Nachito to come and do the drawing. We shall be heading to
La Paz for a couple days and I wd like to hold the drawing beforehand if I can swing it.

and DRUM ROLL, I called Laura and asked her to come on Thursday. Since they are in G Negro, she said they didn't have the cash for gas and I offered
to pay for it. She still had to talk it over with her hubby, but I am guessing that they are coming!
The raffle is going to be a surprise. She will pick the winning ticket but the whole idea is to give her all the cash we have so far. She has
written that she is a bit disappointed that her plant sales have not been high...she really wants her son, Nachito, to have this hearing aid. She is
going to be blown away.

Woody and Bia are the winners! It was great fun and photos are being transferred to my gmail as I write. The video came out really nice too.
I have given them a contact number to see if the rotarios can help out with cash.
