The worlds getting smaller, Timinator! We used to stay at the El Rancho Motel until it went downhill. Used to have a nice pool and grass area to cook
and eat. Last time I stayed I had gangsters on one side and hookers on the other. Now we've been at the Oak Tree/Baymont Inn. Nice rooms, reasonable
price, breakfast voucher, cleaning station. I make reservations as I leave each September 3.
This year a retired teacher I know wanted to shoot with us. She and her husband have a nice double wide up at Hidden Shores Resort, just west of YPG.
She invited me to stay at their place for late season, hopefully next Labor Day too!

I hunt on C.R.I.T. land by my house in Ehrenberg AZ. Cowboy style sun dried Quail jerky is good stuff.

I speak jerky! I kill a deer or two on our property here in Ohio ever year and do it all in jerky throughout the year till the season starts again.
I have a bigger stainless dehydrator know, not the Ronco POS in the picture.

Ok, let's make it about Baja; doesn't it just suck that you can't bring jerky to Baja. No dried sausage, no meats at all. Sure wish they'd change

I took a full seasons supply of Elk,venison and game birds to BAJA every year for many years.Packed it in a freezer powered by an inverter. I put
some whole chickens on top to help the Mexican inspectors feed their kids.....did that for 20 or more years. No problem....I do the same now,but
don't go to BAJA anymore....Tastes just as good here.....

I've got some elk filet mignon in the freezer. I think today is a good day to throw it on the barbie! :-)
BTW, what's the difference between dove, quail, chickens or turkey?
Or don't some eat chickens and turkey either?

Wild Turkey you "usually" just eat the breast meat and it's very tender and very tasty. The rest is pretty full of tendons and not much tender meat.
Wild Turkey's are not "Butterballs". I cut the breast meat in strips then soak in buttermilk, then lightly bread and fry. Wife say's it's the best
turkey she's ever had.
Wild Quail are very tasty, don't overcook.
Chicken Well, the "yellow meat" chicken in Mexico that is yellow from them eating Marigolds is absolutely on a different taste level than chicken
from the states. It's as good as chicken get's just on the grill with salt and pepper.
Doves - I've been eating doves for over 50 years. Personally, I'd rather have a hot dog. I've eaten them every way you're going to suggest too;
marinated then wrapped in bacon on kabobs with pineapple, etc. Hopefully you have a tasty marinate! But they are the most fun game bird to shoot.

Just lay where they fall? Do you dolts have any idea what the legal penalty is for doing just that? No ethical hunter I know of does that. In Alaska
ALL the edible meat has to be prepped taken to the camp before the trophy horns are allowed to be removed from the kill sight. The Fish and Game
checks each kill sight by air to make sure only the skeleton remains. BIG penalties if its not done.
I know it beating a dead horse but if you had any interest in the true story of conservation you might look up as see what the Pittman-Robertson
Conservation Act actually does every year or how much money groups like the Dallas Safari Club and Safari Club International donate every year to
prevent ILLEGAL poaching and wanton waste of wildlife in Africa.You have no clue what actually goes on in Africa but unfortunately all your side can
do is bury your head in the sand and yell obscenities. Don't do anything worthwhile, just make noise, that's about all your side has the interest to
do.

Some of you “responsible” hunters need to visit rural America. Meth, oxy, heroin use is rampant; hunting is conducted illegally more often than
not; and people are poor and angry and mad at govt. most rural angry white men hate laws restricting hunting, and they break the laws whenever they
can. Enforcement is light, so people easily get away with illegal hunting.

Well, got back home...kept my eyes open but spotted none of the type of activity you described.Stopped at the Co-OP for gas, asked the guys at the
coffee shop but they hadn't spotted anything either...I was gonna ask my wife, but she and her sisters went to Santa Fe NM to some art shows...I am
going to a sale in Nebraska Sunday...will keep a a watch out...Our County is 1021 square miles, with a population of 2200 folks....less than 1 per
square mile..be kinda hard to miss activity like you looking for...Goatley, I think maybe you should check your source? Or adjust your meds?

I find it hard to believe that in your little patch of Kansas farm field heaven you can’t find a poaching, angry white man with meth or oxy
addiction problems. Look harder!
P.s. I can spend ten minutes in any baja fishing town and find you a half dozen meth heads that poach fisheries and got anger problems!
