Downtown and Playas Tijuana

Labor Day weekend was another fun-packed weekend filled with music and friends. I was asked to headline a monthly club on Calle RevoluciĆ³n called Technique Underground Bar - catering to fans of Electronic music. The event was video recorded in 4K video, so eventually, the video will find its way to YouTube.

Friday entering the city looked like this..

[Edit: photo attaching is going to take longer than I have time to dedicate, so here are some random images from the amazing Labor Day weekend 2018!]

Posting colorful photos just isn't going to happen without dedicating much more time and effort. In a nutshell, the city was packed and full of energetic people. The music I played was the current dark Techno that is a global favorite among Techno aficionados. Stark 4/4 rhythms combined with bare samples of post war Eastern European reconstruction. Not exactly what one would imagine coming from the town that bore Los Tucanes in the 1990s or Julieta Venegas in the 2000's.
