Goodies at PLaya Hermosa in Ensenada
Last week I was visiting my daughter & grandkids in Ensenada. They live close to Playa Hermosa so one afternoon we went for the worlds best
Gelatto and went down to eat it at the beach. I think Santiago got more on his pants than in his mouth!
I love this beach access as there is always some live music playing, buff surfers, craft people selling jewellery, coco locos and great people
watching.
The water was lovely and the kids love playing in the sand.
Whenever we go to this beach some interesting vendors come by. This fellow was selling the most wonderful coconut macaroons that he & his wife
make. I dont usually buy sweet things but he gave us some to try and WOW they were baked and not too sweet which was lovely. Best coconut treat I have
ever tried by far...so if you see him there make sure you buy lots as you will want more!
We nearly had to duck as this big military chopper flew over us.
As the sun was setting we got our last dip in...Izaak didnt want to get out. Seemed he was getting beamed up by aliens!
and my daughter Sirena was practicing walking on water...she is a mermaid after all!
so if you are in Ensenada head down to the far end of the beach in the late afternoon and take in all the sights and food!

That chopper reminds me of way back at Pto Escondido, Oaxaca. Every morning a chopper would leave the army base on the hill and fly up the beach. This
chopper had spray nozzles coming off each side. We figured it was watering the jefe’s yesca up in the mountains! 😮

Great photos and a great time for you all!
Your Sirena and my Sarah are nearly the same age, I recall and Sarah's daughter (Savannah) is now 8. Like yours, mine also live too far away (over 400
miles)!

I always try to stop there for a few minutes and take in the beach scene.
I love seeing the families enjoying themselves. Seems like a natural thing there.
Glad you all got to spend time together.
Beach time is the best time.
But I don't need to tell you...
