SPACEX ROCKET LAUNCH TO LIGHT SKY AT 7:21 PM ROCTOBER 7
A two-stage SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket topped by Argentina's SAOCOM-1A satellite is scheduled to launch from California's Vandenberg Air Force Base at
10:21 p.m. EDT (7:21 p.m. local California time; 0221 GMT on Oct. 8). If all goes according to plan, less than 9 minutes after liftoff, the Falcon 9's
first stage will come back to Earth safely at SpaceX's "Landing Zone 4" facility at Vandenberg. You can watch the launch live at Space.com, courtesy
of SpaceX, or directly via SpaceX. Coverage will start about 20 minutes before liftoff.
Should be visible from so cal and Baja norte, maybe parts of baja sur weather permitting, if the stars align

Does the rocket need a passport to land, I think it will cross the border on the way south
I'm still amazed at how they land a pencil upright after going over 5,000 mph straight up

When these guys launch, they always head south -- I will get some great views from the beach near LAX. Added this to my calendar (so I don't have to
depend on my brain cell to remember).

Going to El Porto in three hours for the event. Just back from a beach bike ride and zero hint of fog or low clouds now.

Very cool/spectacular from Punta Chivato. I only caught the last 3 or so minutes but it was really clear with a huge plume trailing it. Didn't see the
first stage return though. So Many stars out I couldn't pick it out . O maybe I just missed the 1st stage completely.

Three streaks off the main tail. So very epic what humans can do when they have a common goal. Cant post a photo cuz myiPhone exceeds the chitty
boundaries imposed here, but I digress!
