El Sazon de Chawa in La Paz - photos added

We discovered a good new restaurant the other day and have been there twice for lunch - both times a really good meal.

Run by Vanessa and her mom, El Sazon de Chawa, is on calle Cuauhutemoc casi esquina Foradores. (It's right by the Aramburo's). Open 11AM to 6PM
Monday through Saturday.

Vanessa's mom does the home-style cooking - her mole sauce made from scratch was delicious! We'll be going back to try some other items on the menu
too.

Sorry - I spaced out on taking any photos of the place or the menu, but will do so the next time we go there.

Took some photos when we stopped in for lunch the other day - had the 'carne en su jugo' - delicious! Give this place a try!

Will post photos in a new post since I just discovered I have to do that in order to have them show up in today's posts......

Thanks. We'll give it a try. Always good to get away from the tourist zones...especially this time of year.

Yes, relatively new. Been open several months - opened late spring. We discovered this place in September.

Looks like they have plenty of parking and this is make or break for any eating establishment.

Time to go back to La Paz and check it out.
