Current Gasoline Supply?

Are there reliable sources of gasoline at Catavina and somewhere else?

Are there gasoline facilities between GN and San Ignacio? At Vizcaino?
:tumble::tumble:

Sometimes there is Gasoline at Catavina, sometimes not. When I was comeing back in July they were rebuilding the station at Jesus Marie. Dont know if it is open yet.
Yes there is a big station at Vizcaino, that is where we always top off going north and south

Thanks

These conditions have been the same for seven years that I know of. It was three years ago that I drove "the baja" and was wondering if things had changed, much. Vizcaino was less reliable back then.

No such thing as reliable gas sources on the peninsula. Stations open and close all the time. I've never been unable to find gas in the larger cities...although it wouldn't surprise me if they experience supply problems as well. The smaller towns can be hit and miss.

The gas, if there is gas, from Catavina will be sold from a drum. There is no station there...or at least there wasn't last October when I was down last. It's probably okay but I avoid gas from a drum unless it's my only option. Carry at least 10 extra gallons is my motto.

Gas station at Catavina has been upgraded and re-opened. There were reports several months back that it was out of gas for a week or so.
