Baja 4000 XL who wants to go?

Ok fellow Nomads. My brothers and I had planned on doing the 2019 baja XL , which is a 3000 mile navigation rally all the way down and back up Baja. - or grand tour depending on what you want to do! Jan 25 - Feb 3rd.

http://www.bamakoadventures.com/en/baja4000/

unfortunately, I have just been slotted for a knee replacement surgery - right in the middle of the rally - so we are out.

entry is 1500 per team, i'm willing to sell our entry slot to some fellow nomd for 1200 bucks.

anyone game/ interested?

either a 91 Land Rover Defender tithonis 110 (ex german army vehicle) or an 88 rangeRover classic.

either one was gunna be a hoot! 88 RRC - would have been a trip in luxury, defender would have been spartan - 64 Horsepower 4 cyl diesel, heater almost non existant, no ac, hard top on back! 6000 lbs - top speed 64 mph - but unstopable!

Very cool, we are looking at running a couple of bike down the road, just not ready for this year. Good luck with the sale and surgery..

That should be an adventure of a life time. Wish I could do it. Lots of fun places out there.

Caj13, we might be interested if still available. My buddy and I did La Carrera Panamerica a couple years back and just discussed doing the Bamako.

Let me get a hold of him this weekend and get back to you.

Thanks,
Ted
