November 27, 28 th? from Tecate

He everyone.
Finally set to leave this coming week. Wondered if anyone was crossing and wanted to meet up.
Tuesday, Wednesday?
Destination? South!
Cabo area, La Paz .

I will have to stop for my TIP as I will eventually be taking the ferry over to the main land.

I travel in my Honda Element and I am self sufficient.

tried to call you stephan. sent a u2u

thinking it would be smart to sleep on the US side tuesday night and cross early on Wed morning.

it will take me 3 hrs to get to the border from LA. there may be a 2 hr wait at the border. 5 hrs +.

The sun sets so early now and do not want to be stuck in the dark.

What do you all think?

No delays reported southbound at Tecate. Get your FMM. 90 minutes +/- Ensenada on Hwy 3 and another 3 hours +/-to San Quintin from Ensenada. Several places to overnight and eat in San Quintin. Depending on what time you cross, you can be in San Quintin before dark

Any reason why Tecate and not San Ysidro??
