The Christmas party is this Sunday!

The countdown is on! I had some wonderful help yesterday from a guest at the hotel, the wonderful Lynette.

I had some wonderful help from our neighbor on Bocanita who picked up the last suitcase from my Mom's in San Diego, which was packed full of clothes that MMc had dropped off for my teen boys. It was so heavy!

and lastly I had some wonderful help from Pablo in Abreojos who brought me down the very last backpacks for the kids.

Every single Christmas box is now packed with wrapped presents. Every single box is now wrapped on the outside. Each kid will get shampoo and laundry detergent and school supplies and tons of kitchen items like plates - mugs - bowls. Each new student who will be starting college this August gets a suitcase...

On Saturday, my amigas are coming over to help with the room organizing since I also let each student choose clothes and shoes.

The local cooperative gave me $40 towards the food. That shopping will be done Saturday morn.

A local chef whose granddaughter is being sponsored will cook a special Mexican breakfast for 30.

So, the fun starts at 9:30 am with breakfast. Then my talk and their participation in some activities and of course present opening in between it all. At the end, Mary and Cyndi will bring the cookies they made and I will have made 3 different desserts.

On Monday Les and I head to San Diego!!

Here I am with half the boxes:
