Another Dog Story

Last time we were at La Ventana, my wife went out for a morning stroll with our yellow lab. On the way back she paused to talk to a camp neighbor with a little dog.

As they talked, another La Ventana camper stopped to talk and squatted to pet the little dog. Our lab calmly walked behind the visitor and marked the man's back with a little dogoroma. My wife was horified but said nothing as she thought the man didn't notice.

She came back to our camp and told me the story. About 30 minuted later, the peed-on visitor came back to his camp (right across from ours) and told his buddies about getting peed on.

Later he came over and told us the story over a few beers.....
Apparently he never noticed my wife and so, didn't make the connection that ours was the infamous pee'er.

Does anyone know Raven ?
Don't tell him it was our dog !
