New guy here
Wanted to stop in and say hello. New to the forum and new to Baja. Did a 5 day 800 mile trip back in February via mostly single track on trials like
Rock Man, Some of Camper Shell Window Rock etc. Riding a 17 350Xcf with plans to take the RZR down with the family later in 2019. Planning a 6 day
trip for the end of January with a few guys local guys here in AZ. The Baja Bug has bitten me and I'm planning as many trips as possible for 2019. I
joined looking to connect with like minded people and to seek out advice on anything someone's willing to share with me. I've tried to obtain as many
GPS routes as possible and between those and Google Earth I'm sure I'll be exploring for years to come. Glad to be here and from a quick glance it
appears this will be a good group to learn from.

Welcome. Best trails we have ridden:
1. Cuidad Consitution to San Evaristo to La Pa - A+ trip
2. Seven Sisters - start North of Catavina, go down to the coast (San Jose or Punta Canoas) and on to Santa Rosalillita. Some what challenging at
the top, and the best beaches/bays are at the bottom.
3. Agua Verde is fun to day ride from Loreto. Can back door it all the way to Constitution.
4. Great ride from BoLA to San Rafael to San Fransquito. Sad there is no more Pancho tho.
5. Window Rock out to the ocean is fun. Haven't done it down from there to BoLA yet.
Next we are doing the No Wimps trail (South of San Fransquito) and riding form Consitution to Timbabichi / El Gato.

Is the no wimps trail opened up, last I heard was locked with a guard at the gate on the upper end below Los Barrillos.

Everything JZ said was good advice. If you haul the RZR down to BOLA you could run out to El Arco and find a place to stay the night, come back the
same way? A day trip to the mission or on past for an over night trip. Seven sisters would be a blast on the RZR with a chase truck to bring gas, beer
and camping gear.. A few of the RZR guys I run with are looking at renting a house in San Felipe for 10 or 12 days and ridding that area.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. I’m already on the Ride Baja Facebook group. Erik and Kevin are solid guys. I’ve also been told that as of two weeks
ago No Wimps is nothing more than locked gates. Back in March I heard there were a few guys that were going to try and reroute but haven’t heard of
anything or anyone who has been through since Bill Nicole’s and his group got turned back in February. If you know more about I’m all ears cause
that ones on my list for sure.

Which of these are doable on a RZR and/or jeep? I think I've got some tracks from you before, but if you have any more that are good jeep/rzr tracks,

Which of these are doable on a RZR and/or jeep? I think I've got some tracks from you before, but if you have any more that are good jeep/rzr tracks,
I'd love to add to my collection. |
1, 2, 3, & 4 are all two track or graded and/or paved roads. I traveled them all in my 2017-2018 Trip Reports posted here on Nomad. If you need
more specific data, just ask!
#5 is a single track (motorcycle) ride in the area near the L.A. Bay highway junction with Hwy. 1.

I've done San Evaristo -> La Paz as part of the NORRA race. Amazingly beautiful. I need to go it again NOT in a race car, so I can really
appreciate it.

Welcome to Baja Nomad don't forget great single track in northern Baja. Witch I like a lot more then south less rocks and plants that stab you. HAAA

Baja Feb
TFlex: Doing my annual Feb ride, day after Valentines. May have one spot left - max 8 riders. 3 of my regulars (include me) are in Tucson. 10 days,
a bunch of missions, mix of single track and two track. May have a support truck but usually do unsupported. Baja history is fascinating and gives
you an appreciation for those ranches/missions out in the middle of nowhere. Ed Vernon's 2002 Las Misiones Antiguas is a must read. Saludos
