Truck AC

First off, Merry Christmas to all.
Our 1993 Ford ranger needs AC work. Does anyone know of a repair person in TJ or Ensenada? We live in northern Cal but maybe we could bring it somewhere on our way down or even for a short trip out of our rainy weather. Any suggestion are appreciated.

Ensenada

Refrigeracion-D-Gar, 11th and Blancarte, Ensenada. 646-178-6801.

Speaks English, great service, reasonable prices (compared to US). Been going there for years

Hopefully you can still get the proper refrigerant for that year. I think they stopped making R12. I know my old 1988 Ranger used R12 but my new one uses R134a.

Thank you for the info. I'm hoping it will be easier to get addressed in Mex. We managed to get our 1994 f150 fixed in San Jose but we would not look forward to driving the whole peninsula without a.c.. A road trip to Ensenada would be nice plus a we could drop stuff off at ACV to be shipped to our casa.
