Love it. Good for practice but who wants to ride the same wave every time?

Human ingenuity has put men on the Moon, rovers on Mars and probes out to the far reaches of our solar system. Why not apply it to the next iteration of a water park? Every decent spot within sight of a paved road in my neck of the woods is already as packed as a parking lot. Maybe some of the inland surfers who commute to those spots will head to their local wave pools instead (although for the life of me I can't wrap my head around the idea of paying serious money just to paddle out into another crowd when the ocean is free).

What's it like to surf in fresh water, vs ocean water? Not as buoyant? Other differences?

Guessing the non-surfing crowd get's surfing news late if ever.

Can't wait hoping my Robert August longboard is OK.

Not if surfers have some say about it.

Word on the street The Wedge might be getting another jetty.

Guaranteed to have no great whites.
And it’s chlorinated, so don’t get infections after every rain storm.
And appears to have a bar, hot showers,
What’s not to like about all that?
would be perfect if they could heat the water in winter, eh?
